Precision Viticulture Focusing Southern Brazil

There are four main wine regions in Rio Grande do Sul state, Brazil: (1) "Serra Gaúcha"; (2) São Francisco Valley; (3) “Serra Sudeste” and (4) “Campos de Cima da Serra”. The region is the oldest of Brazil, related to Italian immigration nineteen century. Regions (2), newer, showing similarities but soft changes climate soil conditions. Precision viticulture (PV) has advanced these poles last 20 years. Different techniques precision context agriculture (PA) network Embrapa, including mapping, physical properties sensors, remote sensing, spectrorradiometry miscellaneous methods. Results suggest a medium technological development PA with most approaches grain production few enterprises growing fruit or viticulture, PV. Most considered an academic or, specific cases, productive sector.
